International Arts & Artists
International Arts & Artists (IA&A) was founded in 1995 as a small non-profit organization that provided exhibition services to museums and arts institutions. Since then, the organization has evolved into something bigger and more meaningful.
In addition to developing and touring fine arts exhibitions, IA&A serves the public with quality exhibitions and programming, facilitates cultural exchange opportunities for individuals from abroad, and provides design services to artists and the public.
Reflecting on the organization’s growth, they felt that IA&A had outgrown its original branding and that it no longer reflected what they have become.
As the lead graphic designer of this project I updated IA&A’s brand identity in a way that remains true to its core mission and positions it as an arts organization fit for the future. The new identity is as dynamic as the services they provide and connects their programs in a way that is easier for the organization's growing audience to understand. The brand architecture is now clearly divided into four main programs: Traveling Exhibition Service, IA&A at Hillyer, Cultural Exchange Programs, and Design Studio.
While these programs may have distinct initiatives, each serves the same mission of promoting cross-cultural understanding and exposure to the arts internationally.
